Favoriete projecten / favorite projects

Leuk! Natuurlijk doe ik mee!
Hier zijn mijn favorieten:

Katrina, from Katrina's creatios, asked me if I would like to participate in "the favorite 10 projects": you show 10 of your favorite projects and give the links from the other participants. You can learn from each other, see podcasters you didn't know and you see each other's work.
Thats fun! Of course I participate! Here are my favorites:

1 vest from handspun yarn. It's favorite, because it's made from my very first handspun yarn ever, I was so proud of it!

2 Keeping ewe in stitches shawl, from Katrina's creations. It was a test knit. What I like the most, is the variation in stitch patterns, which makes it very fun to knit. The pattern is very well written. You can find it on ravelry.

3 Vela shawl from Shara made. You can find it on  Ravelry. I like the mosaic knitting.

4 Mermaid tale blanket fot my niece. It was a lot of work. I didn't use a pattern.

5 Shark blanket for my nephew. Also without a pattern. What I liked the most were the happy faces of my niece and nephew!

6 Owl hat, a free pattern on ravelry. The owls look difficult, but are very easy to knit, just cables. I like that.

7 Wonder woman wrap. A free pattern on ravelry. I made it for a colleague. I like the shape of this shawl.

8 I only wear my hand made socks, and I have nearly always a pair on my needles. If I want to watch a movie on tv, I can knit on a pair of socks. Mostly vanilla socks, because I choose mostly variegated yarns, and I don't have to look all the time, so I can watch the movie.

9 Birdy bags. Also made for my niece and nephew. They were very happy with their sports bags!

Scrappy shawl. This is my latest work, and I love it. I used up all my little scrappies of yarn and combined it with grey. The description of this shawl will be released soon on this blog. It will not be a step by step pattern, but more a general recipe, because it's not vey difficult to make.
